Skipping Scanning Items in Walmart Self-Checkout a Surprise to Only Walmart
Bottom line buffoonery
In Michigan, TeddyJo Marie Fliam is feuding with the merchandise giant Walmart over skipped goods in self-checkout. Fliam said self-checkout is a choice she makes to not only save time but also good chunks of money. Noting Walmart’s strict policy that mandates stores to only staff two cashiers during rush hour, Fliam said her choice to flip off lines in favor of temporary employment is an easy one. Fliam’s trips triggered an investigation when she skipped past the elderly door greeter turned receipt checker and loaded the goods into her vehicle. The investigation revealed Fliam made out with over $1,000 in unscanned goods, a figure Fliam scoffs at.
“You’re like a billion dollar company, and you’re whining about $1,000?” Fliam stated indignantly. “I could’ve done more. I should have. I don’t work for them, so since they want me to shop and do their job, I took out compensation.”
